31号上午铁岩开了一个“post morterm”，大家谈得热血沸腾，趁着热血还没冷，赶紧记下来（2007的字体果然比较好看）：

What is to be done in the next year:

1.       Make a plan every day, and check it before the end of the day.

a.        A practical plan is important.

b.      Do not delay anything to tomorrow

c.       Persist on it

2.       Regular meeting

a.       For my own presentation, give some background knowledge, for others’ learn the background before meeting

b.      Be concerned about others’ topic, and give my comments

c.       For others’  comments to me, find why it is wrong, or make correction according to the suggestions

d.      After meeting, follow up the remaining items.

3.       Love what I am doing, at least not dislike it

4.       Work and rest schedule

a.       Get up early in the morning, 7:30 (persisting in it is the most important!)

b.      Practice not sleeping at noon

5.       Be more active

a.       At meeting

b.      Dare to ask questions

6.       More is to be learned

a.       Coding

b.      Maths

c.       How to make presentations

What I learned:

1.       How to benefit from a talk

a.       For those related, get to know what others are doing

b.      For those not so related, learn how others find problem and resolve it.

c.       Make preparations before the talk

2.       A easy way  to find a topic

a.       Read papers in top conference, and find what others are doing

3.       To be a good researcher:

a.       Be patient

b.      Dive in, get your hand dirty

c.       To work with others

4.       When facing shortcoming, choose one, and not shift

a.       Manage it

b.      Make up it

To be though about more:

                What I am good at, and what is my  interest?

In the end, just as Tao said, to do is much more important than to say.
